En la formación de evangelizadores

In 2014 I was sent to evangelize listening to the poor in the newest country of the world. For me listening to the poor in South Sudan means to understand their feelings and problems. Moreover to be with them is to participate in their entire life struggle. Empathetic listening leads to good understand of reality, good understanding of reality leads to action and action leads to integral transformation of the situation. And it is very challenging task to be with poorest of the poor, and to face the challenges that they face, in the field of health, education, employment and economic poverty too. Though it is very tough task to be with the underprivileged people, it gives high level of ministerial satisfaction and meaning to the call that I have accepted from Jesus to proclaim the good news to the poor. People here in this country are longing for peace after years and years of civil war and violence. A mere presence and empathetic listening of a missionary at this juncture will bring reconciliation, peace and hope to the suffering people. ___ Jose Pitchai CMF [SSS - South Sudan]
